Encore: The Morning Appreciations sneak peek

Ever wake up completely foggy, frustrated, worried and doubtful? It usually starts out with the lists of things that you need to complete by the end of the day with a tad-bit of family and friends drama with a dash of work stress in there. I get it, this is part of the human experience, and why we are all weirdly connected and why it is important when you are in those stressful moments that you take some time for yourself.

The power of morning appreciations is key to realigning yourself back with the source. Why the morning, well because how you start your morning can influence your entire day. So, once you are realigned you won’t be sending those weird vibes into the universe. So, since we all go through this I have a practice I have been using to connect back to that inner soulful spirit.

I take 2 minutes in the morning to give thanks for all the many blessings I have in my life. This could be looking outside my window and giving thanks for the beautiful green trees, to my amazing husband, or the blessing of having a roof over my head. I let these “appreciations” spill from my mouth for about 2-3 minutes (sometimes less sometimes more, whatever it takes to release whats within and let it out). Then after that feel free to meditate (meditation looks different for many people, it could be the practice of doing yoga, it could be sitting cross-legged on your deck as the sun rises); the important thing is your connection with that inner spirit and setting your intention for the day.

This is not the entire article, this is my weekly series, however if you want to receive articles like these and other tools on truly living your rich feminine bliss sign up here.

  1. I understand completely! This is why early morning time is mine and mommy’s quality time. She feeds me breakfast 🙂 and then we snuggle and watch the news together. Sometimes we ‘talk’ and pray. It’s a great way to start the morning. XOXO – Bacon
