Hello My Beauties!
Fall in love with your imperfections, the word itself means, “I’m perfect”.
I know sometimes it is difficult to absolutely love who you are, but its important that you do. You are a divine being whose purpose is to spread your gifts to the world. Why would you deny the world your gifts? So, get serious about loving yourself just the way you are.
When you are having these awful thoughts about yourself, try switching it to a positive thought. Here is how you can do this: make a mental note when you have those negative thoughts. Be aware of your body language. When those feelings come up a second time you recognize them. Whether these feelings are about your body, the way you speak, or the way you walk, whenever those negative thoughts fizzle to the surface say this: ” I don’t have time for you right now”. You can yell it, you can do a funky move with it, or you can say it loud in your head. Whatever pushes that horrible thought out. Once the thought has vanished busy yourself with something else. Busying yourself helps you to refocus back to that positive mindset.
Remember when you fell down and scraped your knee, or bumped your funny bone and a friend or a sibling came along and pinched you. You yelled and screamed but for a split second you forget about that bloody knee and sore elbow because your focus had switched to that pinched skin. Well there is some hidden truth in this twisted scenario. When we quickly focus or refocus our attention our brain immediately switches to that sudden jolt .
So, instead of a pinching, try using the mantra: ” I don’t have time for you right now” when a negative thought arises.
Lastly, if you have come up with your own mantra to get rid of those nasty thoughts, please share in the comments below.
As always my beauties wishing you all the best in life and love, live positively!
