An affirmation is about feeling something, the more we affirm the things we want, there will be a positive shift in your life.
Did you ever bump your elbow and had a sibling come along, pinch you and say, “Well I bet you are not thinking of your elbow no more”. Our siblings were smarter than we thought. Distracting ourselves from the situation is a good way to place you back into a positive mindset. You can do this in a number of ways, by taking a walk, having affirmations, reminding ourselves of our goals, thinking of things that truly make us happy can be the shift we need to pull us back to a positive mindset.
